Ed is a co-founder of The Concord Group. Since the firm’s inception in 1996 he has been responsible for providing oversight on all aspects of the firm’s cost estimating services and has been instrumental in defining, implementing and managing the services associated with our owner representation assignments.  In his role as CEO he is responsible for the financial management of the firm and oversees the day-to-day operations of all aspects of our construction consulting services.

Peter Renton

Peter Renton is a co-founding principal of The Concord Group. Peter offers clients a wealth
of knowledge and management skills in pre-construction, construction management and budgeting/cost control services. As a corporate executive who thoroughly enjoys the challenging demands and close working relationships that today’s construction industry demands, he continues to play a role in each Concord Group project.

Peter has worked on projects in Europe and the Middle East, as well as the U.S. In addition to holding a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Economics and Management, he is a Fellow in England’s Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Maurizio Magalli

Maurizio (Mo) directs the Mechanical and Electrical cost estimating functions at The Concord Group. In addition to his “hands on” leadership, he is also responsible for the scheduling, quality control, coordination and client relations for the Specialized Real Estate Advisory Services.

Mo has successfully worked in all aspects of pre-construction project development, construction phase administration, project controls, and on-site project supervision. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and a he is a member of the Association of Construction Inspectors.

Eamon Ryan

Eamon directs the Cost Estimating functions of The Concord Group. As well as managing, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of estimate production, he is directly involved in the preparation of a wide range of estimates. He meets regularly with clients to ensure their estimating service needs are being met.

Working both in the U.S. and abroad, he has gained experience at all levels of estimating, from conceptual to the final bid documents stage in most disciplines, including architectural, structural and civil. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying and a Professional Diploma in Construction Economics and Management

John Duggan

John is based in The Concord Group’s Milwaukee office, where his responsibilities include the coordination and control of design, construction and owner-provided equipment for both new construction and renovation projects for a major health care provider as part of a $750 Million capital program.

John began his career in England, where he provided cost control/cost management services as a quantity surveyor to both contractors and owners on various construction projects. Since relocating to the United States in 2000, he has managed the design and construction activities of numerous projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Quantity Surveying.

Steve Van Slyke, P.E.

Steve directs the Cost Segregation functions of the firm and manages the Grand Rapids office. He is responsible for managing, coordinating and supervising all aspects of Cost Segregation Studies.  He meets with clients to educate them on the benefits of Cost Segregation and to implement the actual studies themselves.

He has over 24 years of experience as a professional engineer working for various organizations throughout the Unites States.  For the last 8 years Steve shared the senior leadership responsibilities of Cost Segregation Studies for a major accounting firm.
